![]() They could've just made it so zombies could crawl through and it would even out. I was so pissed off because I liked being able to hop out of windows. That was one huge thing for me when they first changed it. I liked guns having parts, and I miss that you used to be able to crawl through 1-block height. Other than that, I'd say almost everything has improved imo. It reminds me of Oblivion, but I think it's a hard system to work with for proper structure. It also felt logical since it's the standard Minecraft-style 2-block character, so crouching should make a person 1 block.Ģ.) I miss those single pointy spikes just because they looked "neat" when you put them around things.ģ.) Generally, I partially agree that experience/improvement based on actions is an awesome way to do things. I definitely didn't just feel "safe" because of it. It didn't make things feel overpowered at all, and it was awesome. I enjoyed swapping things out and only needing to save one weapon.ġ.) Being able to crouch through a 1-block hole. I miss when weapons had multiple components that decided the overall quality. Watch a yt video on it to do it right, and its ridiculous and ridiculously fun. If you haven't played with a dedicated brawling build, do it at least once. Injuries that take 20-30min to heal suddenly matter much more because you might be facing down a horde night with 50% of your max HP in a scuffed base with 500 ammo to your name. Hell, even horde night every 3 days really makes you change how you play and manage your time. Horde night every night is also more fun than you might think, early game is a total rush and late game doesn't hit the point of being unstoppable as quickly as you'd think. It's pretty nuts, and really awesome lol. Iirc from the YouTube video, bow damage has been increased like 50%+ across the board from A19, a level 6 compound crossbow with steel bolts can OHK a demo with stealth bonuses, without levels to increase sneak damage. Challenge runs like melee only and guns only are also really fun, same with doing stealth/archery builds, especially due to the insane archery buffs. It really helps to do some stuff like "every 10 days move to a new city, only take what you can carry, no going back". Donno im not a dev bit endgame apart from defending is a bit dry still This goes back to gear, you get the best combo on cold/heat resistance, you have every zone sorted. Also i would love heavy weather events when you are forced to choose a different strategy rather than running around and do the usual. Endgame should be boosted by getting hordenights bosses, complex encounters, make gun crafting skills actually matter as guns eventually break apart you need to craft more of good ones. I feel like after midgame the foodfarm sorted and your base/guns all snoozy, youre just an unstoppable monster. ![]() What i feel on every game that getting a good base and proper guns and ammo nothing can stop me, only thing i raid for is brass and paper and thats it. To be fair i would still like to see guns/tools loosing max durability after each repair, it would make raiding for gear even on high level needed.
